Tadashi Yoshimoto is a disciple of Kei Fujiwara.
He respected Kei Fujiwara and inherited the technique of Bizen ware.
He makes simple and easy-to-understand Bizen ware without excessive decoration.
This Bajouhai is also made according to the theme.
Bajouhai was inspired by the cup shape used by Mongolians on horseback.
Beautiful "Kasegoma" is a complex mixture of blue, green, gray and yellow.
The exposed part of the clay becomes a more wonderful color when wet with sake.

I would guess that he created this piece around 1992.
He invented various new ways of firing Bizen ware in addition to standard Bizen ware.
This is one such piece, a "Neriage" piece made of multiple folded and stacked layers of different types of clay, which are then formed on the potter's wheel.
In addition to the marbled pattern of Neriage, the natural glaze adhering to the surface causes further changes in coloration.
Guinomi's exemplary design is typical of his work as a pottery instructor.

This Guinomi is part of the "Yakusugi Itame" series Guinomi began in 2005, in which he transfers patterns of Yakusugi cedar onto his works.
Seihou's brother-in-law, Kazan Mazda IV, passed away in 2003, and Seihou inherited his Yakusugi boards.
He used a Yakusugi cedar plank to stretch the clay into a board shape and transfer the grain of the wood onto the clay.
As it was, he rounded the clay board into a cylindrical shape to complete the work.
This technique is called "tatara" in Bizen.

This is a Guinomi made by Rakuzan Fujiwara Ⅱ in 1937.
I had his son, Rakuzan Fujiwara Ⅲ, authenticate it and sign the wooden box.
Their Ao-Bizen is fired in a small kiln with a special structure using salt water.
The entire piece is a gray with blue blends, and some of the vermilion color occurs and is beautiful.

Koichiro Isezaki is Jun Isezaki's eldest son.
He uses kiln in a tunnel-like shape called "anagama".
This Guinomi was fired in August 2022.
There is a hole in the middle of anagama for small firewood.
The firewood that was put in during firing turned into a black fire pattern for this works.
He shaped the body by shaving it with a wooden spatula, while Koudai made it by gluing together lumps of clay.
