This work is Tokkuri, made just before the death of Toyo Kaneshige.
I guessed from the purple color of the wooden box, the author's mark, the design, and the quality of the clay.

The beautiful fire pattern of Noborigama kiln is also very good quality.
This Tokkuri comes with an appraisal card for the third son, Kousuke Kanesige.

Since becoming young he became famous for its wonderful work(Saiku-mono).
But he thought that the original beauty of Bizen ware is in Momoyama style.
He improved the kiln and the clay, and greatly developed Bizen.
He was accredited as a living human national treasure in 1956.
He died in 1967.
