This is a Guinomi made by Rakuzan Fujiwara Ⅱ in 1937.
I had his son, Rakuzan Fujiwara Ⅲ, authenticate it and sign the wooden box.
Their Ao-Bizen is fired in a small kiln with a special structure using salt water.
The entire piece is a gray with blue blends, and some of the vermilion color occurs and is beautiful.

He was a student of ceramics researcher Katsura Matasaburo.

He fired this entire piece with rice straw wrapped around it.
The areas where the rice straw mixed with the natural glaze are "itogoma.
The areas that were nearly sealed and did not adhere to the natural glaze are "hidasuki.

Koichiro Isezaki is Jun Isezaki's eldest son.
He uses kiln in a tunnel-like shape called "anagama".
This Guinomi was fired in August 2022.
There is a hole in the middle of anagama for small firewood.
The firewood that was put in during firing turned into a black fire pattern for this works.
He shaped the body by shaving it with a wooden spatula, while Koudai made it by gluing together lumps of clay.
