He inherits the skills and spirit of Sozan Kaneshige.
The simple and undecorated design highlights the beauty of Bizen clay.
He believes that the work will be completed in the hands of the user.
This katakuchi was fired in October 2023.
The entire cup is covered with green Kase-goma.
And a beautiful red clay color like persimmon fruit is generated.
When used, this red color becomes more vivid with water.

Tomoyuki Oiwa - Bizen Sake pourer

29,700 YEN

size : W16.7cm×9.7cm×H8.3cm 250cc

He is a disciple of Ryuichi Kakurezaki.
He learned about Kakurezaki's innovative design and firing methods of Anagama.
This Katakuchi was fired in November 2023.
The flame of Anagama kiln blows into the back of kiln at a stretch.
This katakuchi has an excellent fire pattern due to its very high heat value.
The entire body is covered with a natural glaze that gives it an amber glassy appearance.

Rokuro Nakamura - Bizen Yunomi

55,000 YEN
Sold out

size : W9.6cm×9.7cm×H8.5cm

This is Yunomi made by Rokuro Nakamura who is called a master of sake ware.
The Nakamura clan's unique body design makes it very easy to hold.
I assume from the design and the wooden box that he worked on it after the age of 80.
It is quite large, but very easy to grip, as is typical of Rokuro Nakamura, who loves to drink.
The gentle scarlet color of Hidasuki and the wild body seem to be unbalanced, but I think they go very well together.

Yoshiteru Takariki - Bizen Hikidashi Sake pourer

5,500 YEN
Sold out

size : W10.8cm×8.0cm×H10.0cm

He inherits the skills and spirit of Sozan Kaneshige.
The simple and undecorated design highlights the beauty of Bizen clay.
He believes that the work will be completed in the hands of the user.
This Katakuchi was fired in October 2023.
He removed this piece from the kiln during firing and quenched it rapidly.
The piece was placed near a wood insert and bathed in a large amount of natural glaze.
The natural glaze was transformed into amber-colored glass by rapid cooling.

Tomoyuki Oiwa - Kuro beer glass

14,300 YEN
Sold out

size : W8.0cm×8.0cm×H12.3cm

He is a disciple of Ryuichi Kakurezaki.
He learned about Kakurezaki's innovative design and firing methods of Anagama.
This glass was fired in November 2023.
He makes works with normal Bizen clay, and paints black clay after drying.
"Kuro" is made of clay with a high iron content in the Osafune district of Okayama prefecture.
Add a small amount of cobalt after dissolving them in water to make it liquid.
The black clay applied to the work changes to beautiful black when fired.
And this glass has a very special fire pattern.
The bright, transparent light blue fire pattern is a unique color.
I wondered if this glass was due to the Hikidashi technique, but it's not.

Koji Nakahara - Susogo Kinsai Yunomi

5,500 YEN

Susogo is a word used to dye clothes.

Makoto Kaneshige - Bizen Hidasuki Beerglass

7,700 YEN
Sold out

size : W7.5cm×7.3cm×H10.2cm

He inherits the skills of his father, Sozan Kanesige.
I feel Sozan Kanesige's powerful and intense design from his work.
And since they have valued clay for generations, they have great clay.
This is his older work.
Kodai has a powerful design that is typical of him, but the mouth rim is thin and looks very easy to use.
The clay is rough and soaks up water easily, so Makoto applied some silicon for ceramics to stop the leaks.
