This Tokkuri is a work of his later years.
He is very good at making fire patterns with refractory soil called Botamochi.
Half of the body of this Tokkuri is considered to be red clay color with refractory clay called botamochi pasted on it.
And it turns out that he was thinking of putting Botamochi on the back of Tokkuri to entertain those who used.

Add a small amount of cobalt after dissolving them in water to make it liquid.
The black clay applied to the work changes to beautiful black when fired.
And this Guinomi has a very special fire pattern.
The bright, transparent light blue fire pattern is a unique color.
I wondered if this Guinomi was due to the Hikidashi technique, but it's not.
