I think this Guinomi was made around 1950, guessing from the shape of the Toyo mark.
This is the work when he changed his production style from Saikumono to Rokuromono.
There are three main differences from his later style.
The first is the thickness of the work, and this Guinomi is very thin.
The second is Koudai's design, which is simple and thin.
The third is Higakimon on the body, with or without carving with design.
Kase Goma and red clay are wonderful colors from rice field clay and Noborigama kilns.
The appraisal of his third son, the potter Kousuke Kanesige, is included.

He installed this Guinomi in a place in Noborigama kiln where it was not exposed to direct fire.
It is in another works or in a box of refractory soil called Saya.
