60,000 YEN

This is a work after Kei Fujiwara's career.
This Tokkuri is fired with another piece or a tubular refractory clay.
In the upper part of the work, Hidasuki that shines like metal is generated.
The lower part of the work is beautiful with Sangiri and Goma, which look like fog.
The simple design embodies his ceramic philosophy.

Koichiro Isezaki - Hikidashiguro Kakewake Guinomi

36,000 YEN
Sold out

size : W8.1cm×8.3cm×W5.6cm

Koichiro Isezaki is Jun Isezaki's eldest son.
He uses kiln in a tunnel-like shape called "anagama".
Hikidasi means taking out the work from Kiln during firing.
The works that touched the outside air will be cooled rapidly and will change to a different color from normal Bizen ware.
In this work, the attached ash (pine) becomes transparent and looks like a amber.
And this work is a white work because it uses special white clay collected from Inbe.
The black part is coated with special clay and is indigo by Hikidashi effect.

Mitsuru Isezaki - Imbe Guinomi

40,000 YEN
Sold out

size : W6.9cm×6.6cm×H6.5cm

Mitsuru Isezaki is one of the potters who inherited Bizen ware redeveloped by Toyo Kanesige.
His pottery style is simple and undecorated to show off the goodness of the clay.
This Guinomi has a beautiful texture due to the good quality of the clay.
I think it is Guinomi, which is rare among Mitsuru's works.
This Guinomi has a presence that exceeds its actual size due to his potter's wheel technique and design.

Shuroku Harada - Bizen Guinomi

70,000 YEN
Sold out

size : W9.1cm×7.1cm×H7.5cm

Shuroku Harada was studying old Bizen ware.
He was a student of ceramics researcher Katsura Matasaburo.
The knowledge gained is the basis of his pottery style.
He hasn't fired kiln in recent years.
This Guinomi is his last work.
The wooden vat design that exists in old ceramics is transformed for Guinomi.
Both ends of the rope design wrapped around the edge are cut to make it easier to drink.
The wooden box is in the process of being made, but it will be completed soon.

Kei Fujiwara - Bizen Shuhai

100,000 YEN
Sold out

size : W6.9cm×6.5cm×H5.5cm

This is a mid-term work of his career.
This Guinomi has a green natural glaze called "Kase goma" attached to the entire work.
Kei Fujiwara said in his lifetime, "I like kase goma best among the Bizen ware fire patterns."
Growing up in the majestic nature of Bizen City, he felt the beauty of nature in Kase goma.
And he makes a change in clay color by making close contact with other works and using refractory soil called Botamochi.

Yuu Fujiwara - Bizen Shuhai

70,000 YEN
Sold out

size : W6.7cm×6.6cm×H5.5cm

Yu Fujiwara's designs are characterized by their thickness and heaviness.
However, this work is from his early to mid period, and those characteristics are almost meaningless.
This Guinomi is a work of his later years.
He is very good at making fire patterns with refractory soil called Botamochi.
He placed a semi-circular Botamochi on the edge of Guinomi to change the pattern and improve usability.
And it turns out that he was thinking of putting Botamochi on the back and inside of Guinomi to entertain those who used.

"Kuro" is made of clay with a high iron content in the Osafune district of Okayama prefecture.
Add a small amount of cobalt after dissolving them in water to make it liquid.
This work is taken out of kiln during firing, so the color is vivid.

Takashi Soga researches old Bizen were and uses it as a hint for his work creation.
He does not use any kiln tools made with modern chemistry.
He wants to recreate the environment where the old Bizen ware was made in his atelier.
His work, made in a unique environment, is very similar to old Bizen ware.
In this work, the glossy part and the non-glossy part are clearly separated.
In addition to the glossy, the texture of clay is also wonderful, so it looks like old Bizen ware.

Sozan Kaneshige - Bizen Tokkuri

160,000 YEN
Sold out

size : W9.1cm×9.0cm×H13.5cm 380cc

I guessed that he fired this piece when he was about 60 years old.
He fired in his brother Toyo Kaneshige's kiln or in his new Maruyama-Gama kiln.
The balance between the body and the spout is special, and the neck and spout are large.
But I don't feel uncomfortable, in fact I feel it's a very good posture.
Kigoma, Koge-Goma, and lightly glowing clay colors are very nice.
When left in place, this Tokkuri is very quiet and has a low presence.
But once you pick it up and start using it, it starts to tell you a lot of things.
