8,800 YENSold out
size : W5.9cm×5.6cm×H6.6cmHe was born into a family with a long tradition of Bizen ware.
Under normal circumstances, he would have played a central role in the Bizen Pottery industry.
However, at the root of his work was his anger toward society at large.
He was good at putting destructive emotions into his works and creating works that were even grotesque.
He named his kiln "Shakuyo" and was particularly particular about the occurrence of red clay color.
The kanji for "Shakuyou" means "the sun that burns everything.
Yuho Kaneshige - Imbe Shiro Guinomi
49,500 YENSold out
size : W6.0cm×5.7cm×H6.0cmHe has been creating unique pieces in primitive kilns in recent years.
He has also produced a work titled "Shiro.
However, this "Shiro" was not fired in a primitive kiln, but in an electric kiln.
It was fired at a high temperature and has slight Hidasuki adhering to it.
It is very hard, but the surface is smooth and almost worn.
The design is also interesting as it has repeatedly shrunk and expanded on the potter's wheel.
One feels that the work is not made of a single piece of board, but is put together like a three-dimensional puzzle.
